Alonzo Wilson

Alonzo E. Wilson, 91, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017. A native of Missouri, he had lived in the Chattanooga area for 2 years. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and a retired Apostolic Pentecostal minister with more than 50 years of service. He enjoyed vehicle mechanics.

Alonzo was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Lillie Peugh Wilson; wife, Jewell Nunley Wilson; and 3 siblings, Margery Cross, Clarice Curbow and Gary Wilson.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamla (Bud) Childers of Harrison; brother, James Wilson and sister, Lela Powell of California; grandsons, Timothy (Terri) Childers of Wisconsin, Jason Childers, Marc (Shenyle) Childers of Illinois; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
