Arvel Bentley

Arvel Richard Bentley, 84, passed from this world at his home on Monday, June 6, 2016. He was born in Ft. Payne, Alabama but had lived most of his life in Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by Faye, his wife of 63 years; parents, Henry Richard and Lula Bentley; special niece, Carolyn Cushen.
He is survived by his daughter, Jan Brotherton and son, Ricky (Carol) Bentley, all of Chickamauga, Georgia; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Leon Rhoden and Donald Smith.
Graveside service will be Friday, June 10, 2016 at 11 AM at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lloyd Harvill officiating. Interment will follow. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. You may visit the online guest book @ www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com
