Austin Thomas Bush, 29, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 4, 2021.  Austin was a graduate of Sale Creek High School where he played baseball and basketball and was a member of ROTC Raider Team.  After high school, he served in the United States Marine Corps.  Upon his discharge from the Marines, he worked in construction.  Austin was a lifelong member of Bayside Baptist Church. He enjoyed a wide variety of outdoor activities and spent as much time as possible outside with a large circle of friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Delores Bush, Wanda Davis and Jack Davis, and uncle, Mark Davis.

Austin survived by his parents, Greg and Jackie Bush; sister, Haven Bush; grandparents, Bill and Joyce Bush; aunts and uncles, Ron Bush, Gary and Sue Bush, and Dean and Jennifer Davis.  He is also survived by his cousins, April (Duane) Campbell, Crystal (Daniel) Fowler, Faith (Mike) Quinn, Lori (Mike) Lowe, Tyler (Mallory) Bush, Emily (Cade) Lawson, Andrew and Gracie Davis, Madison York, and Tyler Clayton, as well as many other family members and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A graveside ceremony will follow at 2 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Jason King officiating.  Austin will be laid to rest with military honors.
