Barbara Long, 73, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021.  Barbara was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant.  She was led by the Lord to be a true caregiver, and dedicated her life to taking care of others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Bertha Riggs, and siblings, Buddy Riggs, Jean King, Mary Johnson, Martha Hawkins, Erma Jewel Bales, Jerry Riggs, and Betty Rohrscheib.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 52 years, John Howard Long; daughter, Christine (Tim) Trotter; brothers, Tommy Riggs and Roger (Jeannie) Riggs; sister, Linda Kerley, and grandchildren, Morgan and Olivia.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Clarence Hodge officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a charity of your choice.
