Barbara Jean Mabry, 86, passed away on August 14, 2019. Mrs. Mabry was a member of Harrison United Methodist. She participated in Meals on Wheels for many years. Barbara was selfless woman, always thinking of others before herself. She loved art and was former President of the Civic Art League Committee. She adored her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, and always put them first.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Lida Jackson and her sons, Michael Mabry and Martin Mabry.

She is survived by her son, Mitchell (Rita) Mabry; sister, Joann (James) Herring; grandchildren, Jason Mabry, Joshua Mabry and Jacob Mabry, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home, Hwy 58. The memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Turner Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be private.
