Barbara Ellen Malone, 90, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022.  She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed taking care of her family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Don Malone; daughter, Lisa Chapman; parents, Arthur and Velma Ford; brothers, Alymas, Marvin and Brian Ford, and sisters, Nancy McGinnis, Shirley Ruttenbur and Shelba Fuller.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Malone, Elaine Youngblood, Sharon Stokes (Ronnie Hewlett), and Teresa Carter; brothers, Arthur V. "Rounder" Ford and George Ford; grandchildren, Amanda Charlesworth, Lacey Stokes, Scotty Stokes, Kyle Stokes, Miranda Stallings, Chloe Marie Thomas, Daisla Chapman, Austin Chapman and Alley Chapman; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special sisters-in-law, Glenda Malone Acuff and Carolyn Malone; brother-in-law, Cecil Bryant, as well as special friend,  Bobbie Fugate.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  Visitation will also be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from noon – 1 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Ronnie Dotson officiating.

Mrs. Malone will be laid to rest in Bald Hill Cemetery with her husband, Don Malone.
