Barry "Rocky" Giles, 79, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was a Vietnam veteran, and retired from the United States Army after serving more than 26 years.

Rocky was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Giles; parents, LT and Pearl Ivey Giles; brothers, David (Shirley) Giles and Lebron Giles; mother-in-law, Ada Adeline Perkins, and sister-in-law, Retha Giles.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha; children, Chris (Donna Hayes Williams) Giles and Donna (Michael) Morgan; brothers, Dennis Giles and Brian (Tina) Giles; grandchildren, Nikki (Tony) Bandy, Codi Womack, Ashley Giles, Thomas Giles and Amanda Giles; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Grayson and Aubrey Giles, Jaxson, Madison and Waylon Bandy, and Colton Womack, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Rocky will be laid to rest in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

Per his wishes, there will be no visitation, and the funeral service will be private.
