Beatrice Benton Roy
Beatrice Benton Roy went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2018. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved the Lord and was teacher of the 4-5 year old Primary children at church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Ola (Jones) Benton; brothers, Emmett and Richard Benton and sister, Lucille Hixson.
Those she left to cherish her memory are sister, Lillie Mae Noll; daughter, Kim (James) Beene; grandsons, James Christopher (Crystal) Beene, Michael (Melissa) Beene; great grandsons, Addison Beene, JC Beene, Christopher Beene and Mackensey Canales; cousin, Tootsie Colston; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 12-2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association at 7625 Hamilton Park Dr # 22, Chattanooga, TN 37421, phone: (423) 265-3600.
