Betty McBrien Baltimore

Betty McBrien Baltimore, 93, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. She was born December 3, 1924 in Chattanooga, where she lived her entire life. Mrs. Baltimore retired from Chattanooga Bakery. She was married to the late Earl Baltimore and was the last surviving sibling of 11 children. Betty had 3 children, the late Julia (Hugh) Griffith, Wendell (Louise) Baltimore and Raymond Baltimore. She had 10 grandchildren, David Griffith, DeWayne (Cindy) Griffith, Kristen (Patrick) Jacobs, Wendell Baltimore, Curtis (Beth) Baltimore, Rusty Baltimore, Allison (Vince) Vantiegham, Kelly and Rachel Baltimore. 10 great grandchildren, Steven (Jennifer) Sherrod, A. J. Griffith, Chelcie Griffith, PaTrisha Jacobs, Kyle Baltimore, Matthew Baltimore, Cameron Baltimore, Hayley Vantiegham, Blaine Vantiegham and Vincent Vantiegham. 4 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Baltimore; daughter, Julia (Hugh) Griffith; 9 sisters and 1 brother; daughter in law, Edith (Raymond) Baltimore.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 4-8 pm in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at noon on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Simpson-McBrien Cemetery.
