Bill Watts
William "Bill" Thomas Watts, 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. He was a member of Harrison Masonic Lodge #114, Alhambra Shrine and Bartlebaugh Baptist Church where he served as music director for many years. He retired as a supervisor from DuPont after 32 years and was a graduate of the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and a former teacher at Sequatchie County High School. He received the WWII Victory Medal while serving in the United States Navy aboard the USS Repose Hospital Ship as a nurse.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dollie Pickle Watts and several siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years Bettye Watts; daughters, Vicki (Harry) Fryar and Nicki (Nick) Winkler; brother, Herbert Watts; grandchildren, Carla Card, Billy and Kevin Fryar, Nicholas Winkler and Tiffany McGinnis; great grandchildren, Caitlin and Maggie Card, Emily Patterson, Alayna and William Fryar and Brystal McGinnis; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service with Masonic Rites will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Minister Don Ferguson officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
