Bobby Gene Bonine, Sr., 81, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022.  He was a Church of Christ member and a lifetime resident of Chattanooga.  Bobby served as the financial secretary for AIW Local 383 while employed with Pro Group.  He was retired from Covenant Transport where he was a truck driver.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Odia Bell Bonine; brother, Howard Bonine and sister, Virginia Mincey.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Brenda; son, Bobby Bonine, Jr.; daughter, Sheri (Joe) Brown; sisters, Mary Clayton and Barbara Medulla; grandson, Justin Watts, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 15, 2022 from noon – 2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Mike Manning officiating.

Bobby will be laid to rest in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson.
