Bryant Ivon Elliott, 34, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away in a hospital on Saturday, February 12, 2022.  He was born on October 5, 1987 in South Bend, IN.  Although only 34 at the time of his death, Bryant affected many people in his short lifetime.  He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.  Bryant was so loving, caring, and incapable of hurting anyone.  He always exuded a powerful presence of the Holy Spirit.  Bryant loved his mother, they were so close.  She was always there for him, and he knew it!  Bryant enjoyed gospel music and his favorite song was Alvin Slaughter's, "The Wonders of His Hands".  He also loved bible studies, the college football team the "ND Fighting Irish", and spending time with his mother.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Durwood Elliott, Sr., and his cousin, DJ Elliott.

Bryant leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving and devoted mother, Laverne Elliott of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Tasha N. Elliott of Chattanooga, TN, Adia Barnes Johnson and Kayla (Jeremy) Galloway of Winston Salem, NC, Amber (Brad) Benson of Cherryville, NC; grandmother, Nancy J. Elliott of South Bend, IN; aunts, Nadine Elliott of South Bend, IN, Marybell Elizabeth Elliott and Carol Elliott of CA; uncles, Durwood Elliott, Jr. of Elkhart, IN, Kenneth Elliott of South Bend, IN and Milton Herring of Minneapolis, MN; nephews, Rocko and Houston, and niece, Bella.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 11 – 1 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Eulogist and Reverend William Daniels officiating.

Bryant will be laid to rest in Harrison Cemetery.
