Calvin Russell, Jr., 69, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.  He was a 1970 graduate of City High School and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with his Bachelor's degree.  Calvin was a respiratory therapist for Memorial Hospital.  He loved his boat and was an avid bird watcher.  Calvin also loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Danelle Russell, and his parents, Calvin and Corrine Russell.

Calvin is survived by his son, Eric Alexander Russell (Allison); daughters, Brittany Driskill (Evan) and Jessica Reynolds (Rick); sister, Sarah Diane Russell, as well as four grandchildren, Kaleb, Dawson, Bella and Brooklynn.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Pastor Jason King officiating.

Calvin will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memorial Gardens South.
