Junior Heaton
Carmond "Junior" Heaton Jr., 74, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. Mr. Heaton was a member of Grace Avenue Baptist Church; he was a retired painter and avid fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Heaton; his parents Carmond Heaton and Pearl Roberts Cross, Mr. Heaton was the oldest of 8 siblings.
Junior is survived by his sons, Gary (Christy) Heaton, Ringgold, Joe (Jennifer) Heaton, Ooltewah; daughter, Diane (Michael) Swaney, Chattanooga; grandchildren, April Palmer, Gary Heaton, Jr., Austin Heaton, Amanda Bowman, Caleb and Cindy Heaton, Matthew Bowman, Justin, Aaron, Chase and Chelsey Swaney, Maddox and Knox Heaton. 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 4-8 pm, at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home or you may visit the online guestbook at www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017, at 11:00 am in the highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.
Following the service, Mr. Heaton will be laid to rest next to his wife in Harrison Cemetery.
