Carolyn Standifer
Carolyn Marie Standifer, 68, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017. Carolyn worked hard to earn her bachelor's degree in nursing while raising four children. She served her community as a nurse for 30 years. She loved Tennessee football, crafting, her grandchildren, and Christmas was her favorite time of year.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Ray; grandmother, Mattie Grace Holland.
Carolyn is survived by her son, Kem (Melissa) Schultz of Knoxville, TN and George Standifer Jr. of Ames, Iowa; daughters, Tracy (Steve) Jeroutek of Knoxville, TN and Chris Moore of Sevierville, TN; brother, Thomas Ray; sister, Barbara Reidenower; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Reverend Mike Manning officiating.
