Charles Lockwood

Charles Kenneth "Ken" Lockwood, 82, of Chattanooga passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016. He was the owner of Lockwood Auto Center and Wrecker Service for 52 years. He had great love for his family and pet dog, Mattie. He was a member of Lake Hills Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Nellie Vanwinkle Lockwood; son, Charles Lockwood Jr.; grandson, Charles Lockwood III; 6 siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Frankie Lockwood; sons, David Lockwood Sr., Ronald Lockwood and James Frost; daughters, Virginia (Michael) Abney, Jeanne (Carl) Hankins and Rhonda (Marvin) Cochran; brother, Paul Lockwood; sisters, Ellen Lahiere, Dorothy Eison and Barbara Pefroman; 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren including David Jr., Tabitha, Raiyven and Casey Lockwood, which were part of Charles and Frankie's household; special nephew, David Paul Lockwood; several others nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor William Burke officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Logan Whitehead, L'Neal Whitehead, Zach Spradlin, Andrew Monk, Jeremy Dittmar and Frank Thompson serving as pallbearers.
