Clarence "Goob" Friddell, 81, passed away on August 6, 2018. He was of the Baptist faith, retired from Buffalo News in Buffalo, NY after 36 years, and was an Army veteran.

"Goob" is preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Friddell; daughter, Pamela Friddell, and several siblings.

He is survived by his brother Franklin Friddell of Chattanooga.

The funeral will be a graveside service held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 1 p.m. at New McDonald Cemetery in Ooltewah, TN with Minister Charles Griffin officiating.   Clarence will be laid to rest next to his loving wife Charlotte. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
