Daniel Rae Bottomley, 66, born on July 23, 1956 in Greeneville, TN, passed away suddenly at his home in Harrison, TN on Sunday, January 29, 2023.  Daniel was a loving husband to Linda Bottomley and a caring father to Danielle Bottomley-Mendez, Briana Bottomley, Chuck Bottomley and Michael Bottomley.  He was also a proud grandfather to Ian Bottomley, Isabella and Rance Mendez II, and Harper Raylynn Ford.  He was a devoted son to Dr. and Mrs. Dan Bottomley of Greeneville, TN (now residing in Michigan), and beloved brother to Dee Van Eyk (Mark), Debra DeGrave (Doug), Diane Coffey (Glenn), and Doris Shelton (Earl).  He was also an awesome uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Daniel was a veteran, having served in the United States Army, and he was presently employed as a commercial truck driver for Food Liner in Chattanooga.  He also attended the SDA Church in Harrison, TN.

Daniel was preceded in death by his son, Michael "Mikey" Bottomley and his in-laws, JE and Charlotte Miller.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
