David Paul Porter, 81, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 23, 2021. Mr. Porter was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a part time farmer who raised beef cattle.

He was predeceased by his parents, Garland sr. and Amanda Day Porter; brothers, Charles, and Garland jr. Porter; sisters, Virginia Porter, Emma Miller, and Betty Laher.

David is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sandra Hickman Porter; daughters, Davena Porter and Tracy (Dee) Hill; son, Justin (Ali) Neyman; sister, Lucretia Travis; grandchildren, Jeremy Hill, Jared Hill, Megan Willis, Morgan Hill, Kendal Neyman and Madison Neyman; great-grandchildren, Deacon Miller, Maverik Hill, Lucy Willis and Florence Miller; several nieces and nephews and special lifetime friend, Cliff Durham.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 11 am until 1 pm. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Pastor John Waters officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Christway Community Church at 6201 Mountain View Road Ooltewah, Tennessee 37363.
