Debbie Heiser, 62, of Harrison, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 18, 2019. She was a member of Church of the Highlands, where she and her best friend Sandra Lovelace started the Hugs Ministry to minister to women in need of encouragement and going through difficult times.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Orr O'Leary; husband, Gary Heiser and nephew, Jeremy Gibson.

Debbie is survived by her father, Gordon "Earl" O'Leary; sister and best friend, Sandra (John) Lovelace; brothers, Ted (Linda) O'Leary, Gordon (Brenda) O'Leary; nieces and nephews, Kyle (Hannah) O'Leary of Franklin, TN, Randy (Amber) O'Leary, Geneva O'Leary, Rachel (Paul) Botu, and Shara O'Leary all from Michigan; as well several great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hugs Ministry, Church of the Highlands @ 6621 Hunter Rd, Harrison, TN.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 4 - 7 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 10 – 11 a.m. with the funeral following at 11 a.m. in the Turner Funeral Home chapel.

Debbie will be laid to rest in Old McDonald Cemetery in Ooltewah, TN.
