Donald Boling
Donald Anthony Boling, 68, of Adel, Georgia passed away August 4, 2016 at Tift Regional Medical Center following a long illness. Mr. Boling was born September 12, 1947 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Wideman Eugene Boling and Wilma Joyce Griffin Poovey. He lived in Harrison, Tennessee most of his life and the past 5 years in Adel. He was a steam fitter with the Tennessee Valley Authority and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Boling is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law: Chris and Elvira Boling of Austin, Texas; Dake and Kim Boling of Adel; Justin Boling of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his spouse, Bobbie Nell Brewster Boling of Calhoun, Georgia; six grandchildren, Reyn, Hannah, Autumn, Mari Allen, Isabel and Alexander Boling; one brother, Pete Boling of Greenville, South Carolina and one sister, Anna Klassett of Conover, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Ingle; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 2-4 PM in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 4 PM with Pastor Mike Bower officiating. Interment will be on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10 AM in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors and Pastor Steve McCary officiating.
