Donna Christine Dowden, 58, passed away on July 24, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a member of Oakwood Church of God Prophecy. Mrs. Dowden loved God and music. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Reba Terry.

Donna is survived by her husband of 42 years, Daniel Dowden; father, Hoyt Underwood; daughters, Amanda (Jeremy) McNeece and Jennifer Dowden; brother, Scott Underwood; sisters, Tracy (Brian) Sullivan and Amy (Mike) Sneed; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 12 – 2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home, Hwy 58. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Turner Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Barry Lee and Pastor Bruce Kennedy officiating. Burial will be private.
