Dorothy Lee Waters, 77, a life-long resident of Chattanooga passed away Friday, June 1, 2018. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Waters retired from the City of Eastridge after 27 years as a school patrol crossing guard. Dorothy was a Sunday school teacher and excellent artist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Annie Giles Tinker.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Marvin Waters of Cleveland; 2 sons Jerry (Sandra) Waters of Cleveland and Terry Waters of Eastridge; 1 daughter Deborah (Dale) Graul of Dunlap. 1 niece, Angie Barnes; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 5 until 8 p.m. in the highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 4, 2018 in Greenwood Cemetery where Mrs. Waters will be laid to rest.
