Edith "Carolyn" Reeves, 82, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.  She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Carolyn was born on March 20, 1939 to Hoke and Sylvesta Baldwin. She was a former cafeteria worker at Central High School in Harrison, TN, and was retired from Bi-Lo, where she worked as a bookkeeper at the Dalton Pike location in Cleveland, TN.  Carolyn loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed vacationing at the beach, playing putt-putt, reading, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, and the Atlanta Braves baseball team.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoke and Sylvesta Baldwin; sisters, Colleen Garrett and Gloria Lowery, and brother, Howard Baldwin.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 66 ¾ years, Rev. Melvin D. Reeves, Sr.; children, Melba (Paul) Estes, Carol (Tom) Keith, Dee (Donna) Reeves, and Lora Masengale; grandchildren, Misty Senters, Kimberly Owens, Brandon Wright, Ashley Miller, Hayden Masengale, and Mindy Reeves; great-grandchildren, Mecalah Senters, Landon Senters, Brent Senters, Ian Wright, Aleena Owens, Ambrose Owens, Savanna Millsaps, and Baylee Millsaps; great-great grandchildren, Naelyi Wheaton and Callie Wheaton; brother, John Baldwin; sister, Billie Moore; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A graveside service will follow at Greenwood Cemetery at 3 p.m.
