Edna Springfield, 86, passed away on September 3, 2019. Born and raised in Sweetwater, TN to Herman and Etta Lance, Mrs. Springfield moved to Chattanooga in the late 60's, where she met and married her late husband, James. They built their home in Harrison, TN, where they lived out their remaining years attending Gamble Road Baptist Church, loving and fellowshipping with their neighbors. She loved to cook and sew in her spare time. Edna was a very caring soul, always thinking of others rather than herself. She spent much time taking care of her friends and neighbors. She loved her church and the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, James.

Edna is survived by her children, James (Cindy) Springfield, Mark Springfield and Patricia (Bill) Conley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 9 a.m. – noon at Turner Funeral Home, Hwy 58. Following the visitation, there will be a graveside service held at 1:30 p.m. at Sweetwater Memory Gardens at 1838 US-11, Sweetwater, TN 37874 with Reverend Ken Perdee and Jessie Waddell officiating.
