Edward "Neal" Bettis, 94, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.  He was retired from TVA after 30 years of service.  Neal was a longtime resident of Harrison and was a well-known member of the community.  He was also a member of Harrison Bassmasters for many years, where he served as an officer.

Neal was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Smith Bettis; son, Gary Neal Bettis; parents, James and Effie Bettis, and brother, Clyde W. Bettis.

He is survived by his sons, Danny Bettis (Debbie) and Mark Bettis (Soontaree).

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1 p.m. with Heman McDade officiating.

Neal will be laid to rest in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
