Enrico "Rico" Ravalo Deocampo, 63, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022. He was born in Manila, Philippines on December 21, 1959 to Thomas and Resurreccion. Rico moved to Tennessee during his elementary years with his siblings, Oliver, Cesar, and Daisy. He attended O.L.P.H. and then graduated from Notre Dame High School. During his school years, he played football, basketball, and track, where he earned numerous awards. Rico was employed as a machinist at Southern Technologies Corporation for over 30 years.
He was a man of many talents and interests. Rico was an amazing friend, even to strangers, and always brought a light of happiness wherever he went. He coached many All-Star baseball teams, one of them winning a State Championship. Many relationships were created at the Harrison Ball Fields, where he also umpired. Rico was also a gifted roller-skater, he competed and also taught those who wanted to learn. He was an excellent cook, and a lover of music. Rico would often start singing at any moment. He was an animal lover, and he and his dog, Skye, were inseparable. Rico was often with his good friends playing poker or watching sports. Rico had a big family here in the U.S. and abroad, including the Philippines and Australia. Along the way he created strong friendships that brought love into his life, his family was everything to him. Rico had a beautiful smile that would light up a room, it's one of the many things about him that his family and friends will dearly miss.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Resurreccion Deocampo.
Rico is survived by his two sons, Jeremey Deocampo and Joshua Deocampo, with Tess Canlas.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58. A funeral service will be held at O.L.P.H., 501 S Moore Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37412 at 1 p.m. with Father Mike Nolan officiating.
Rico will be laid to rest in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
