Eugene C. Crosby

Eugene C. Crosby, 90, of Harrison went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. He was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church for over 50 years.

Eugene was very active in the Music department, taught Sunday School and worked with the Bus Ministry for many years.

He was born in upstate New York to the late, Clarence T. and Frances Ann Crosby; also was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his four children, Velma Fuller Crosby; one step-daughter, Pamela Harden Shelby.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Crosby; of Harrison; two sons, Paul (Bonny) Crosby, of Chattanooga, Philip (Judy) Crosby, of Ringgold, GA.; two daughters, Priscilla (Dennis) Goodwin, of Portsmouth, VA., Eunice Crosby, of Hixson; two step-sons, Chuck and David Harden, of Dayton; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 2nd at 2:p.m. at Lakewood Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Gilbert and Rev. David Bragg officiating. Entombment will follow in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Friday at the church prior to the service from 1 p.m. until hour of service.
