Evelyn Brooks-Kite, 73, passed away on September 28, 2018. She was of the Baptist faith. Evelyn loved children and worked at Kid Stop Daycare for 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Ethel Brooks; siblings, Charles, David, and Gary Brooks and Marilyn Spurling.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 18 years, William Kite; sister, Elaine (Leon) Torbett; daughters, Lynn Hullender, Marie (Leonard) Shappy, Destinie Haven; granddaughter, Amanda Haven; loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

There will be no visitation and burial will be private.
