Ferris S. Hart, Jr., 71, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on December 17, 2022.  Ferris proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served as a Sergeant in Vietnam from 1969 -1971.  He was also a Master Welder and a member of the Millwrights Local 654 Union.

Ferris was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Hart, his parents, Mary and Fred Tucker, and sister, Betty.

Left to honor his memory are his children, Daniel Hart, Phillip Hart, and Melanie Hart.  Ferris is also survived by his grandchildren, Joseph Hart, Danielle Hart, Eli Hart, Phillip Hart, II, Charlie Hart, Alexis Hart, David Hart, Daniel Cooper, and Kiri Cooper-Martin.  In addition, Ferris is survived by his siblings, Sharon Ferguson, Lebron Tucker, Paul Tucker, Mary Jo Whitworth, and Alan Tucker.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m.

Ferris will be laid to rest in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
