Pat Burdette


Francis "Pat" Collin Burdette, 88 of Chattanooga, passed away August 16, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Hamilton County and was of the Baptist faith. Pat was a retired mechanic after48 years with Cutter Laboratories and Stainless Metals. He was a US Army veteran having served in the Korean War.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, George and Neva Bower Burdette and brother, Gilbert M Burdette.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene Elder Burdette of Chattanooga; son, Mike (Sarah) Burdette of Dutton, Alabama; daughters, Karen (Terry) Shadix of Harrison and Debbie (David) Workman of East Ridge; grandchildren, Wendy, Holly, Jeff, Chris, Mandy, Andrew and Laura; great grandchildren, Gracie, Maddy, Ashlee, Molly and Connor; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 5-7 pm in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.
Pat will be laid to rest on Friday, August 18, 2017 with a graveside service at National Cemetery at 12:30 pm with Minister Cameron Sanders officiating.
