Gary Hicks

Gary Lynn Hicks, 59, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Hicks.

He is survived by his parents, Rev. Walter and Jean Haney Hicks; wife, Julie Hicks; daughters, Amanda Pentecost, Jennifer Hall and Keli Perry; son, Harrison Hicks; sister, Lisa (Tubby) Swearengin; mother in law, Debbie Johnson; sister in law, Jana Roberts; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 6-8 pm at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Minister Tony Wilson officiating. Gary will be laid to rest in Tyner Cemetery.
