Gaye Agatha Prestwood, 58, passed away on October 16, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of the Harrison area and a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. Gaye was also a master gardener.

She was preceded in death by her parents; George and Lila Prestwood and brother, Alvin A. Prestwood.

Gaye is survived by her brother Travis (Karen) Prestwood from Acworth, Georgia and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Maple Grove Baptist Church 9525 Birchwood Pk.  The funeral service will also be held at Maple Grove Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 with visitation from noon until 2 p.m. with Pastor Ronnie Dotson officiating. Miss Prestwood will be buried in Old McDonald Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Center at 910 Blackford St, Chattanooga, TN 37403
