Georgia “Kay” Webb, 86, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026. Born in Gastonia, NC, Kay eventually made her way to Chattanooga, TN. She was of the Christian faith. Kay graduated from the UTC nursing program and was employed for 20 years with the Hamiton County health department before retiring.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Webb; daughter, Kathy Goodroe, and parents, George and Dora Adair.

She is survived by her son, Scott Webb (Vickie); grandchildren, Candi Gillette (Eddie), Katie McNeese (Ian), and Matthew Bennett (Tara); great-grandchildren, Savannah Laubach (David), Eddie Gillette, and Mya Bennette, as well as brother-in-law, Bob Goodroe.

There will be a graveside service held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery, where Kay will be laid to rest with her husband, Loyd.
