Gloria L. Blackwell, 77, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Chattanooga.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Marlin Eugene Blackwell Sr. and they are now reunited and together again. She was also preceded in death by her son, Lynn Edward Ridge and granddaughter, Amy Ridge.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Pamela Sue Ridge; sons, Marlin Eugene Blackwell, Jr., and Michael Dewayne (Leslie Ann) Blackwell; sister, Janey Erby; grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Gillespie, Sybil Ruth Irwin, Jason (Michael) Blackwell, Hayley Nichole Blackwell, and Randy Ridge as well as several great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home.
