Harvey Lee Stokes, 72, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.  He was an avid fisherman and loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and will be deeply missed by them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orlando and Zillie Stokes; brother, Bud Stokes; sister, Ruth Foote, and nephew, Jeff Stokes.

Harvey is survived by his brother, Roger (Betty) Stokes, and sister, Wanda Morris, as well as several nieces and nephews, Cindy (Ira) Goolsby, Daryl (Lindsey) Foote, Stephanie (Keith) Bettis, Kim Brown, Stephanie Watts, Tim (Angie) Stokes, Tom (Becky) Stokes, James (Judy) Stokes, Paula Stokes, and Jennifer (James) Headrick.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home, Hwy 58 Chapel.  A visitation will also be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 from noon – 1 p.m.  A chapel service will follow at 1 p.m. with Steve Johnson officiating.

Harvey will be laid to rest in New McDonald (Eastview) Cemetery.
