Hazel Ellis, 86, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025.  She was a resident of Harrison, TN and a member of Georgetown True Church of God.  Hazel enjoyed cooking, sewing and making her own clothes, and selling produce.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Beulah Stokes; husband, Kenneth Ellis; sisters, Maggie Myers, Carolyn Stokes and Willene Townsend, as well as her brother, Doyle Stokes.

Hazel is survived by her children; Lamar Ellis and Tim Ellis, and siblings, Louise Fisher, Wanda Bowman, Johnny Lee Davis, Linda Crisp, Connie Barnett, Sandra Clayton, Tonya Johnson and Barbara Ponder.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Paul Bowman officiating.

Hazel will be laid to rest in McInturff Cemetery with her husband, Kenneth.
