Helen Bowman

Helen Nadine Bowman, 86, lifelong resident of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. She was a member of New Shepherd Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eway Bowman; parents, William and Ann Sherlin Smith.
She is survived by her son, Fred (Margaret) Browning of Birchwood; daughter, Reida Lunsford of Ooltewah; brother, David (Nomie) Smith of Birchwood; sisters, Judy and Charlotte; grandchildren, Joe, Bethann, Tammie, and William Browning, Keith Johnson, Kellie and Bob Hurst, Kristie and Bob Linn; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Nelson, Carla, Melinda Baker, Lynn Lockhart, Jennifer DeLaune and Terry Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 2-8 pm at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home or you may visit the online guestbook at www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com
The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Ooltewah Cemetery.
