Helen Bess Pierce's Obituary
Helen Bess Pierce, 91, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She was a member of Ashland Terrace Baptist Church. Helen was a wonderful woman with many friends. She worked hard all of her life to make sure that her family was taken care of.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Owen Pierce; parents, Eugene and Mamie Goodwin; three siblings; granddaughter, Lauren Henderson.
She is survived by daughters, Mitzi (Steve) Henderson, Joni (Keith) Robertson; grandchildren, Erin (Shane) McGill, Michael (Nicki) Henderson, Kirsten Henderson; great grandchildren, Eden, Aiden, Christian, Jillian and Madelyn McGill; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 5-8 pm at Turner Funeral Home on Hwy 58. The funeral service will be graveside at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 12:30 pm. Helen will be laid to rest beside her husband Charles.
