Herman "Ruke" Picklesimer, 61, passed away in a Nashville hospital on March 31, 2021 from burns sustained in a house fire.  He was a lifelong resident of Harrison, TN, and of the Baptist faith.  He worked in construction as a brick mason.  Ruke enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and he also loved to fish.  He was a kind and sweet person, and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Nolan Picklesimer; grandparents, Earl and Opal Picklesimer; uncles, Hoyle Picklesimer, Sr., and James Picklesimer, and aunt, Gwendolyn P. Hindman.

Ruke is survived by his brother, Jimmy Picklesimer; uncle, Donald Picklesimer, and aunt, Wisteria Smith, of Chattanooga, as well as several cousins and many friends.
