Herschel "Bob" Bankston, 83, passed away on August 15, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey G. and Juanita Parks Bankston; brothers, Norvelle, Kenneth, Victor, Paul Bankston;  sister, Doris Walters; brother-in-law Bill Walters; sister-in-law Gayle Bankston.

He is survived by his wife, Lucinda Bankston; son, Jeffery Bankston; brothers, Bill (Zelda) Bankston, Mark (Sue) Bankston; sisters Linda Pell, Martha (Virgil) Messer; Sister-in-laws, Juanita and Diane Bankston; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00  p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.  Graveside service at Harrison Cemetery will immediately follow with Brother Gary Nelson officiating.
