Howard Dill

Howard William Dill, 88, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017. He was born to the late Bert and Mattie Boyd Dill. Howard was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a retired welder after more than 37 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Dill and brothers, Carl and Floyd Dill.

He is survived by his sons, Gary (Pam), Paul and Scott Dill; daughter, Darlene (Delone) Sentell; grandchildren, DJ and Amy Sentell, Chris (Dalia) and Mark (Laura) Dill, Brittany (Andy) Moon, Eric (Julie) Dill and Lindsay (Ryan) Johnson; 10 great grandchildren; brother, David Dill; sisters, Marie Johnson, Ida Johnson and Nellie Robinson; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 4-8 pm and on Monday, April 24, 2017 1 hour prior to the service at 2:00 pm at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Minister Eric Dill officiating. Howard will be laid to rest next to his wife in Harrison Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
