Irene Mallard, 83, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.  She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Chattanooga.  Irene was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Mallard; parents, Albert and Ruth Elder; daughters, Shelia McDaniel and Janet Holmes; brother, Alvis Elder, and sister, Betty Jo Sutton.

Irene is survived by her son, James (Debbie) Mallard; daughter, Donna (Glen) Hill; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

A committal service will be held at Lakewood East on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at noon with Pastor Chris Creswell officiating.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
