James "JC" Calvin Arnold, 84, of Harrison, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024 after a brief illness.  He was born in Browder, KY on September 8, 1939 to Eldon Arnold and Irene Pogue Arnold.  JC was a career Marine, retiring as a Master Sergeant.  After 24 years of service to his country, he became a small business owner in Harrison, TN.  Following a second retirement, he continued working in the retail industry until the passing of his wife of 52 years, Etta Mae Arnold.  More recently, he continued his lifelong love of working with his hands, building game boards, and taking on home improvement projects.

JC is survived by his sons, James J. Arnold (Becci), and Chris Arnold (Kimberly); daughter, Shanna Arnold; grandchildren, Jeff, Jon, Daniel, and Kristina; six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

The family will announce services to be held at a later date.
