James "Weldon" Collins, 89, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.  He was retired from Combustion Engineering and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.  Weldon will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty, and his parents, Charles and Lula Collins.

Weldon is survived by his brothers, Sherman Collins and W.B. Collins, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Chad Chandler officiating.

Burial will be private.
