James "Mickey" Lawson, 73, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021.  He was a Mason, and a member of Fidelity #558.  Mickey was also a veteran, serving in the Army Reserves.  He loved racing, and at one time was a race car driver and a member of the pit crew.  Mickey was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Juanita Lawson.

Mickey is survived by his wife, Linda; stepsons, Scott (Lauren) Bowman and Eric (Mandy) Bowman; sister, Beverly Meeks; nieces, Brandy Snowden and Melinda Meeks, as well as three step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 11 – 2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home, Hwy 58 Chapel.  A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Brother Mike Manning officiating.
