James H. Miller
James "Jim" Herman Miller, 79, of Harrison went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 28, 2015. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, F.E. Miller; mother, Ethel Wise Miller; one sister, Jeanette Peek; three brothers, Ralph, Ernest and Tommy Miller.
He is survived by one son, James L. (Sandra) Miller, of Harrison; three daughters, Teresa (Alan) Robinson, of East ridge, Doris (Al) Smith, of Hilliard, FL. and Glenda Hammons, of Vonore, TN; one brother, Ed (Mary) Miller, of Harrison; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 31st at 2:00 p.m. at the Hwy 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Pastor, Jim Shoemate officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home or you may visit the online guestbook @ www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Mary Ellen Locher Foundation @ 5959 Shallowford Rd. Chattanooga, TN. 37421
