James R Streetman Jr.

James Robert Streetman Jr., 68 went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 29, 2016. He was born in Dickson, Tennessee but had lived in Chattanooga for the past 46 years. James retired from BASF after more than 44 years of service. He was a very active member and Deacon at Bartlebaugh Baptist Church. He enjoyed astronomy and was an avid gardener.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Hattie Hatcher Streetman Sr.;
James is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathy; sons, James Robert (Lisa) Streetman III and Alan Streetman; sisters, Barbara Nolen, Susan Nolen and Nancy Murphy; grandchildren, Jarod and Logan Streetman; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 4-8 pm at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Bartlebaugh Baptist Church with Reverends Don Ferguson and Bob Patty officiating. The body will lie in state for 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Bartlebaugh Baptist Church Cemetery.
