James L. Watkins, 85, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023.  He was a United States Air Force veteran, stationed in Korea.  James was the greatest Daddy and the best Papaw.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  What a fine man he was.

In addition to his wife of 51 years, Billie Jo Watkins, he was preceded in death by his son, Mike Watkins.

James is survived by his daughter, Lisa Pruett; brother, Gary Watkins (Pam); sister, Betty Oliver (Hubert); grandchildren, Michael Watkins, Keith Pruett (Kirstie), and Kristin Pruett, as well as great-grandchildren, Braden Watkins, Analeigh Watkins, and Thatcher James Pruett.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  There is no public funeral service planned at this time.
