Ed Welch

James Edward "Ed" Welch, 80, of Harrison passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016. He was a farmer and retired carpenter. He was well known in the area and was an avid horseback rider and loved coon hunting.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary "Hub" Welch; parents, John and Jessie Self Welch and several siblings.
He is survived by his son, Todd Welch; daughter, Kathy Cook; brothers, Steve and Charles Welch, all of Harrison; sisters, Juanita Morgan and Pat Welch of Ooltewah and Norma Sue Leamon of Harrison; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ronnie Dotson officiating. Interment will follow in Holder Cemetery.
